S-One Holdings Corporation, the parent company of S-One Labels & Packaging, is proud to be certified by Great Place to Work for the first time. The award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at S-One. This year, 97% of its employees said S-One is a great place to work – 38 points higher than the average US company. Great Place to Work is a global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention and increased innovation. “Great Place to Work Certification isn’t something that comes easily – it takes ongoing dedication to the employee experience,” says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of global recognition at Great Place to Work. “It’s the only official recognition determined by employees’ real-time reports of their company culture. Earing this designation means that S-One is one of the best companies to work for in the country.” Art Lambert, S-One co-founder, says, “Ron Simkins and I are honored that our employees think that S-One is a great place to work. Since we started this company in 1994, it has been our mission to make sure our employees enjoy coming to work and that they know we appreciate them. We are ecstatic about this certification.” Angie Gruss, executive vice president of culture at S-One, says, “The most important thing to S-One is our people. We have a dedicated group focused on creating an employee experience that is supportive, engaging, focused on individual growth, and of course fun. It is great to know they feel positive about working at S-One and our efforts, especially in this past year, have made a difference.” According to Great Place to Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits and have a fair chance at promotion.
